truckeic
OK bought one of these ..I don't know much about scopes but what I do know is for rangefinding and such you need to know what power they are on the scope. I have asked technical support about this as they just send me the instructions sheet.. Anybody know anything about these guys.. https://www.amazon.com/CVLIFE-Hunting-6-24x50-Illuminated-Crosshair/dp/B007UT3N4Y http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58a359f15607f/13589.jpeg Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Longhair
Made by a cheap Chinese contract scope manufacturer. They will put anyone's name on it if you buy enough of them. Here are a few other examples of the same scope. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hunting-6-24x50-AOEG-Optical-Rifle-Scope-Red-Green-Dual-illuminated-2-Ring-Mount-/311723114005?hash=item4894253e15:g:~~IAAOSw8w1YBs2e http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Illuminate-6-24x50AOEG-Red-Green-Rangefinder-Rifle-Scope-Mounts-For-Hunting-/201671947300?hash=item2ef495b424:g:8xMAAOSwImRYJRmA http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dakota-Sport-Supply-6-24x50-Rifle-Scope-Red-Green-Illuminated-Mil-Dot-Sniper-/401110661370?hash=item5d640ef8fa:g:mXMAAOSwPv9XHLMX http://www.ebay.com/itm/BESTEK-6-24x50mm-AOEG-Rifle-Scope-Red-Green-Illuminated-Mil-dot-Reticle-Cross-/192038557690?hash=item2cb663d7fa:g:a~0AAOSwo4pYOw1r The optics are poor, and it might be okay for an airsoft or some other toy, but I wouldn't put one on anything serious....not even a .22LR. Longhair
truckeic, on 15 Feb 2017 - 2:45 PM, said:OK so why?... Because you might have to depend on it. AR's tend to be a bit tough on scopes due to effectively having bi-directional recoil (the weapon firing, and then the bolt slamming back forward). If the adjusting mechanism isn't sturdily built it will fail internally. And poor optics are just poor optics. Being cloudy or out of focus toward the outer edges seems to be a common complaint. gshayd
buy Vortex next time these are some decent scopes for between $100-$200 dollars They have an unconditional VIP Lifetime warranty. The problem is when the cheap scope doesn't work or breaks easily and then you try to replace it. At Votex if you drop it, lightning strikes it, they will replace it. OK ..
