Pretty slick. USB has become quite a standard for many unexpected things.

Looks kind of neat if you choose to charge one battery at a time.

If they charge in quick time I might consider it

Good point. That would be a pain.

They will not work. The Surefire 6PX uses 123A batteries.......different animal.

That's what I thought. Dude at batteries and bulbs was trying to get me sold on 18650's for my 6px and I told him it won't work.

Here's a 123A, a AA, and an 18650.

There are some models you can run an 18650 on you get an add on tube for them.

If it uses 2 - 123 then the 18650 is GTG.

That thing would be very fragile and what kind of discharge/recharge rate would it have....

Like others have said, if your CR123 flashlight/item takes 2 of them, you should be able to use 2 18650's.

You can get better rechargeable to replace the 123's, but they are also fragile and can not stand up to lots of weapon fire if your using them on a weapon. However, for training and such why not?

I was looking at 123 batteries and just seen these on Amazon.

Streamlight cr123a, 12 pack for 20.58 and qualifies for free Prime shipping.

That's about as cheap as I have seen from a brand name company.
