Whats Up With Microtech UTX-85?

The Illinois House and Senate passed the auto knife bill, the Governor has less than 2 months to sign it or not. I dont see any reason he wouldnt though.

 

Anyways, ive already settled on the UTX-85. But why doesn't anyone have them in stock? Are finding one always like catching a unicorn fart?

I'm not into these knives at all, with no hands-on experience. As I scrolled through the knives on that link above, I didn't see anything special.

 

.... until I saw the all black! For some reason the colorful handles were "meh" while those black with black blades were really nice looking and changed my mind.

 

Still not in a position to buy anything, though. You guys are bad for the wallet.

I like the black ones too with the satin black handles and the black blades. I have two of them.
