WTS / WTT Sig P220 - Oregon

Recommended Posts

Throwing this out there just to see what may bite,

I have a Sig P220, non railed, alloy frame, 1990's manufacture (based on the fact that it had blued finish originally)

Unknown total # of rounds down the pipe, I've put a few hundred through it since purchasing it. It's mostly been a safe queen, seen some carry use. Has 3 newer 8 round mags plus the original 7 round blued mag. Standard Sig bar-dot plain irons. Trigger is well broken in, smooth pull. Gun wears Hogue rubber grip panels, and has a smooth front strap.

I recently reblued the slide, as what was left of the original finish pretty much wore off during a vigorous cleaning prior, so I sanded and polished the slide then reblued using Birchwood Casey paste blue. Was going to eventually send the gun off for refinish, and probably still will if I don't find an acceptable offer.

I don't really want to mess with shipping right now - so preference to in-state SB941 compliant face to face transfers at an FFL. I'm in the Portland area.

Cash price on the gun is $550, buyer to pay transfer fees at an agreed upon FFL.

Trade items:

Gen 1 M&P 9 full size, 4.25" or long slide models + cash or goodies to up the value on your end OR a newer M 2.0 5" 9mm

Older Sig P228 or (or P229 9mm)

AR15 5.56 pistol complete upper - looking for 10.5" with free float rail, 1:8 or 1:7 twist - upper by itself or upper + cash depending on mfg and configuration

Glock 20SF

Beretta CX4 Storm carbine in 9mm

Marlin lever action in .357 mag or .44 mag

Open to other ideas, but not interested in 9mm or .45acp Glocks, no interest in anything .40.

PM offers, cash price is firm. I don't need to sell it, just fishing.

I think I'm going to have to pass on this one, I just can't rationalize another .45, especially right now. I have a bad case of the gottahavits for another Sig, now I just have to wait and see if I turned in enough OT.

Good luck on the sale Hk, I'll give you a free bump.

Derp. Won't let me edit ad anymore, was going to update trade ideas a bit more:

I would consider an M&P40 5 inch, with mags/ammo,

A Glock 31 or 32

Wifey has a 9mm Shield. It's a good gun - but the stubby pocket rockets aren't my thing. My daily carry is the 2.0 Compact 9 - aka the M&P Glock 19. I've got a project to complete (my AR pistol build) and a couple others I have ideas about - like a slicked up range gun, or a Roland Special type build out, etc.

I can't edit the original post anymore, but I've opened my trade options up on other sites where I could:

Newest most bestest trade list:

Gen 1 M&P 9 or 40 in 4.25 or 5 inch flavors

Glock Compact or Full Size in .40 or .357Sig (still not really interested in 9mm Glocks) or a G20SF

An AR15 pistol upper that meets the idea laid out above

OR $500 cash (I dropped asking price to account for an FFL transfer so it should still be well under $600) - I s'pose I could ship it for the right trade or sale, but $$ buyer would have to pay shipping. It's been so long since I dealt with that, I'm not sure what shipping even costs on a pistol these days.

P.S. you should be able to edit the original post you just have to click Use Full Editor Button on the left of Save Changes and scrollup to the first post.

Nope, tried that, only get the option of editing my last post. I think it's because the OP was made too long ago. No biggie.
