Suggestions on an OTF

Recommended Posts

Recommendations on an OTF that is decent quality but won't break the bank?

I bought one of these, but get the feeling the blade edge is hitting on the way in or out because it seems to get very dull with little use.

Under $100 would be nice.  Can't really afford a microtech or Benchmade.

Does such an animal exist?

cobratecknives.com  had a ton of cheap ones, but I have no idea of the quality.

The webpage would not copy for me.

The link would not work for me either.  I just carry a Case Trapper and have had it more than 25 years.  Always have it in my pocket.

Just purchased one...nice price and nice knife well made comes with a lifetime warranty. Purchased it locally. The small Texas edition, of Course.:) It had a card for the warranty went to the website put in the number on the card and I was registered. Just purchased a Large Texas edition with a dagger blade. On the large knives, you can buy different style blades and swap them out.

I purchased one and gave one as a gift to my brother in law and both are still doing fine.

The ones I'm seeing are like $179

Is that the normal price?

Since that knife has an aluminum handle, I could see where that would dull it up pretty quick.

Since gshayed has had good luck, you think they might ship you a new one since this one seems to be defective ?
