rasputin
So, making stuff for a birthday party and remembered this recipe. You mix up 32 oz. of grape jelly, two 12 oz. bottles of chili sauce, a quarter cup of Worcestershire sauce and a tablespoon of mustard (I used more). Three to four pounds of ground beef. Or use pre-made meatballs. I used my meatball recipe. Includes bread, eggs, parmesan, herbs and two pounds of ground beef and two pounds of sweet Italian sausage. Brown the meatballs (actually, I fully cook them). Toss your balls into the crock pot and cover with the sauce. Heat them up real good and you're ready to go. Hope there are some left over. They'll make a great meatball sammich.

Flesh Wound
That's nice. But I cannot have all the carbs... So last week I made this: (I call it meatball surprise) Pack of pre-made meatballs (homestyle) 1 large onion 14 oz (I think it's 14 oz) can of sliced mushrooms 1 can of cream of mushroom soup Pour out the liquid from the mushrooms. Place all in crockpot and let it cook on slow for 8 hours. Season to taste. Double the above recipe will 3/4 fill a 5 qt crock pot.

hlhneast
Try it with strawberry jam. I use that and chili sauce with other stuff for a BBQ wing glaze. MmmMmmm.
