His surviving family are going to be reeling!  They don't think its Hep A for the brother, but he has just come back up from FL.

Wow. Did G know something about Clinton or what? Not to make light of it but damn, that is a huge coincidence. Hep A is a durable virus able to survive for months on a surface and is resistant to detergents, acids and other cleaners.

I know G was a vegetarian but did he eat seafood? That is a common route of infection.

Woah  WTF!!!!!!!   This is just terrible.  They say it isn't but I wonder if it is tied to the hep A thing.  Why else would this happen.  He was down there.

My prayers are out to the whole family.  This is horrible.

I'm beginning to wonder if it was Hep A. It's not usually fatal. Guess I'm just not the trusting sort. With all the illegals coming with who knows what diseases.

He was in his 60's, under stress, traveling by air. It could have been several different things unrelated to Hep A

Usually not, but that means sometimes it is. It is like the flu, it also isn't usually fatal but kills 80,000 people a year in the US on average. And as with any virus the treatment is limited to symptom relief. It being misdiagnosed by a doctor is a greater concern to me. Doc probably looked at him, did a cursory exam and said "flu, you will be better in 2-3 days". A cheap test would have shown it wasn't flu. That pisses me off more than anything. It is like the patient from a crash, we extricate him, fully immobilize him, take him to the hospital and within 5 minutes with no x-rays taken the doc takes the c-collar off and removes the backboard. He gets checked out and doctor releases him before we have even finished our reports.

Next day, guy calls 911 saying he was trying to drive himself to hospital and now can't feel his arms and legs. We take him in, different doctor, orders x-rays of neck, then a CT. Comes back he has a fracture in his spine 3rd vertabrae down from his skull. Ends up having surgery to repair the fracture and no deficit from it but it could have gone bad, real bad.

Ned was 53.  And two 62 year old's, Jeff and Nancy, die from Hep A. Not saying it didn't happen. Just very strange.

Vermont Secretary of Education Dan French called Kirsch, 53, a “friend and a colleague whose work I respected a great deal,” in a statement released Friday.

I just found out, speechless.

Yes, it was quite a shock. G and his wife. Then days later his younger brother all died. I pray that their surviving family and friends find peace.

G, You have a new job in life and that is to soar with the Angels. Do it well and Do It With Gods Speed.

As for the rest of us you are not gone, you just went home. So do us all a favor will you? Guide us so that when the time comes we all come home too.

Sweet Jesus !

I don't see the purpose behind any of this

but I trust you are holding them all in your arms.

We ask that you provide peace and strength for the family,

Amen.
