Lower: "U.S. Government"-marked from Black Creek Precision

16" mid-length Barrel w/ FSB & Delta Assembly: FN from PSA (.078" gas port) (M4 ramps)

Muzzle Device: Probably a basic A2 flash hider

Bolt Carrier: bastiage** DPMS right-hand carrier

Bolt Assembly: Stag left-hand

Charging Handle: Colt "self-assembly" of Genuine Colt parts

Hand Guards: S&W M&P-10 Mid-Length Hand Guards (round) from Numrich . Reported to be skinny style.

LPK stuff from Right to Bear

Gas Tube, Stainless: Brownells

Trigger Assembly: Likely my remaining Geissele SSA-E or my Larue MBT-2S

Buttstock: TBD / Currently a toss-up between aftermarket A1 style or the RRA entry stock with an extender from Als Custom (extender only)

*Hybrid: Fully made right-hand A2 upper features with one exception. Ejection port on left side. All other "stuff" on right side.

**bastiage: Right-hand carrier with left-side gas exhaust ports. Uses a left-hand bolt.  Carrier is smooth on both sides.

Killing me. A1 is ok but if I can "taylor-fit" the "entry" with a 1"/1.5"/2" extender, that'd be my choice. If online info is accurate, the extenders would lengthen the entry stock to 8.5" / 9" / 9.5". It's the 9" and 9.5" length that I'm not locked in with yet. Pretty sure the 8.5" ain't gonna cut it.

I keep going back to one of my 6-position collapsibles w/ a tape measure, shouldering, etc. Just ain't got it right in my mind yet. At this point, I just want to "call it", go with the A1 and march on. I'm trying to just chill and see if it "comes" to me. Groovy baby. :snicker:

Getting there. Lower completed and mated to upper less barrel assembly. Installed my "other" Geissele SSA-E trigger assembly. Still can't get over the weird look of the upper.

There is no cure unless you hit rock bottom, and really have the desire and will to stop, and save yourself.

A commitment to a group like ARcoholics Anonymous will help give you the support to avoid relapse.  Admitting

you have a problem is half the battle, but you must work the steps and rely on your Higher Power.

As long as you have water, food, and shelter, and insist on surrounding yourself with enablers, the disease will continue to progress.

You can do this, my friend. A good start would be to send all of your assembly tools and spare parts to me.

Yes, I would be willing to do that for you. It's time you took this seriously. Your life may depend on it.

No hope. I flagged down the postman as I stood outside with all my tools and parts. She actually stopped but noted in my haste to send the several boxes out, I had no address of final destination. With sadness and remorse, I trudged back inside and had more pumpkin pie.:tiphat:

I'd be happy to provide that information.

I presume you had partaken of an extraordinary amount of "Thanksgiving cheer" to still be thinking you could ship stuff out with no

name or address.  Before you stumble down to the mailbox again, let me know and I'll send you the required info. Heck, I'll send you the shipping labels.

Just leave the stuff boxed up, and let me know when you are ready.     No need to thank me. If a friend is in trouble, I'll do what I can  to help him get

his life back on track. With a little help you can overcome this addiction, Multiple studies have shown, especially in the initial stages of recovery,

that is critical that you eliminate as many triggers as possible.

John

P.S. After giving this some thought, I have decided that I must use tough love, and not just ignore the obvious.

It is apparent to me, and to everyone here, that you are not really serious about curing your BRD.

While friends can provide support, it is you that has to do the heavy lifting, and decide you want an addiction-free life.

Don't hesitate, just do it. Don't even engage in the internal debate. You know what the right thing to do is.

I can't in good conscience enable you, and I'm not going to gloss over the fact how disappointed I am that you continue to put yourself in grave danger, and that you have not been honest about what really happened. Howerever, if the "last build" keeps repeating itself, there will come a time that you will be forced to continue you struggle on your own until you get your mind right.                    :bellylaf:
