Built for the 1939 World's Fair. A dozen were built. 9 still exist. They did traveling tours in the 1940's and 50's. There are some really terrific photos at the Wikipedia link.

Seems like there was an episode of the car buying and restoring TV show (forget the name of the show) where he bought one..short fellow with grey hair and mustache in, IIRC, Connecticut..

Actually two shows, one with Wayne Carini (sp), Chasing Classic Cars (your reference) and one on beotching Rides from Salt Lake City. I had to spend some time under house restriction, by the Orthopedic Doctor. Got to see a bunch of “reality” shows. Is what happens when you are right handed and your right arm gets wrapped shoulder to wrist and put in a sling for 45 days. At least I escaped another shoulder rebuild.
