I am in Richmond! We actually looked at some property there many years ago before it got built up.

Been 2 years since we've been here, still haven't managed to get down that way yet. Katy is as far in the SW corner of the Houston area we've been. Driven up to Dallas a couple times, Austin, Corpus via Victoria and LaGrange - haven't explored the suburbs yet, or much of the east side of Houston. One of these days when I've got the extra money burning a hole in my pocket, I want to drive the 99 loop just to see what it looks like.

Actually  I am closer to Katy than RIchmond. Been in the Houston are for better past of 40 years and still haven't been to the east side!  West and SW are the areas I am most familiar with. I have been all over Texas though. 99 loop isn't a loop yet. it stops at the SW Freeway.
