Over my dead body!  Take our firearms, eliminate the private ownership of cars, these Davos elites are simply delusional….and this latest admission from the ATF had better spawn a litany of law suits.
I’m turning 70 in a little more than a month and I hope not live to see

Short answer nope, the Rumpster’s little pistol is good to go

Long answer is it’s covered by the ADA as that’s a huge powerful tool to use against the ATF…….and beat them

Lots to unpack

From the ATF site - there is absolutely NOTHING that stops anyone from legally putting a pistol brace on a rifle with a 16" BBL and 26" OAL.

The lawsuit is already moving forward.

Just saying no one has to get rid of the brace, EVER, if they build a rifle.

So, in the meantime, able-bodied folks can maintain the "cheek" pistol without a brace; the brace can be installed on a rifle - and the histrionics can come down a notch or 10.

People could remove the brace, and the "braced pistol" is now an "unbraced pistol."

They can install the brace on a 16" bbl/26" OAL rifle and it's still a rifle, and it can be fired from the shoulder.

People can panic if they like, but it's only because they like.

It's a shatty, stupid ruling; and a lot of people are gnashing their teeth and rending their garments because they won't take the time to read the ruling and think.

We are suing the ATF already. If it goes like the bumpstock and 80% rulings we should be okay.

1.) It's an utter nonsense ruling.

Actually disabled folks don't need to do a thing. Disabled Americans are specifically exempted because the ADA is a real thing.

Truly disabled folks don't need to do anything. Watch these anti-gun legal freaks start trying to split hairs on

"temporarv" vs. permanent

The ADA prevents pretty much

ANYONE from inquiring into the nature of a disability.

Hell, it also strips ALL forms of immunity. Qualified, Judicial, Prosecutorial. I saw a case (and the various audios/vids) from where the ADA was leveraged against the ENTIRE Ohio state judiciary including a bunch of judges and the Ohio Supreme Court.

It's an absolute monster piece of legislation.

There is NEVER a need to destroy or dispose of a pistol brace if it is placed on a 16" bbl rifle with 26" OAL. It says so plainly in the ruling's FAQs.

If someone already has an NFA Trust and they deny the Form 1 based on this 88-day nonsense, I suspect another lawsuit will follow.

That arbitrary bullshat could result in the denial of ANY application because "it took too long."

There is clear precedence for the AT part of ATF (US Constitution, Art 1, Section 8, Clause 1) to regulate taxable, NON right items.

But there is no true legal authority behind their regulation of firearms as they flow from a legally protected right.

Give the Alcohol and Tobacco regulation/ taxation/enforcement to the IRS and disband the ATF as redundant.
