GROUND ZERO
HI LPDTactical i wanted to know if we could post the following link's these are for all leo' emt fireman/women and military.that came down to NYC ON 911 and helped us in our time of need the first two sites are for anybody and from any state that were there helping us.they do not have to be sick now but god forbid later on in life then get sick due to 911 they are covered.but it is very important that they fill out these forms asap since there is a cut off date.they are self explanatory just follow the instruction's .i know that during that time i worked with leo's from PA NS SC MICH CA ETC they might not be aware of these form's and i was hoping you might be able to do a general post to all who came down and remember that they do not have to be sick or injured now but in case of the future.the 3rd site i will be posting is FROM NYC PBA I THINK that some fellow officers might be interested in it. i wanted to contact you 1st to see if this was okay and if you wouldn't mind posting it i think a lot of people from out of ny state do not know about this thank you if you have any question please contact me. yatyas
Thanks for the links. i wasn't involved with 9-11 but I thank god for those that were. I have desert storm syndrome and I and those like me are being ignored...Jim Jim, just came across this post, I am a new member browsing through and noticed you were a fellow tracker. I got out Late 87 but have quite a few friends that stayed and several suffer GWS. One of my best friends from my time in the corp retired a Gunny(Pierce) about 4 years ago and died within six months of cancer. It Frosts me that the Gov't isn't properly acknologing and treating the issues, but that is nothing new. I got out and have been Working as a Firefighter/paramedic for the past 16 years and we have our own exposure issues but luckily have some presumptive legislation on our side when it comes to certain health and dread disease afflictions. I hope you are starting to get some of the help you need by now as it seems some of the syndromes are finally getting the attention they deserve. Take care and I wish you well. Gray.
