1911 picture thread

RIA officer 45acp reworked by myself with caspian trik trigger, egw barstock sear and cylinder, slide edm barstock hammer, fusion mag well with a grade 5 two tone blue job toped with cocobolo grips. below is a before picture

Caspian commander hicap built by me with a kkm 9mm barrel. I also have a matching one in 40SW.

That Rock is definitely in the running for an award in the "Most Improved" category, especially since

it was DIY.

Does this use standard 1911 parts? Grip seems like it's a different angle...

No, it's about 15% smaller than a standard 1911. Everything is scaled down for the .380 round.

Here's mine, Just put the magpul fde panels on her. A bit heavy to carry but that doesn't stop me.....

Was in a pawn shop in Grand Prairie, TX today. Found this little Llama III. Pint sized 1911 in 32ACP. Date code says 1950 manufacture. It's been refinished and I'm not a fan of the faux pearl "Pimp" grips but for $216.50 out the door with a holster too I had to have the little beastie.

 

The trigger feels great. Cute little pistolo!
