Has anybody seen the new Ruger polymer Revolver?

13 ounces. I gotta admit, i love the fact they are transitioning the polymer into the revolver field, but i think this is one of the ugliest revolvers i've seen in a while............what do you guys think?

I like everything about it except the way it looks

Actually, it's better looking than I expected. I generally don't care for the look of rugers anyway...but this looks more like a traditional revolver than most of their other products.

I'll wait till they come out with a .357 Magnum version though. :nt:

I don't know. I think the gp100 and original ruger blackhawk and redhawk look a lot like a traditional revolver. This things just ghastly. I guess if your into that new age weapon look. I just like the good old fashioned stuff

Does look kind of strange. Might want to wait for the recall, though. :nt:

I heard about this a while back, and was looking at it again today. I'm curious to see what the street price is going to be. I'll be looking for a carry gun myself soon and the LCR intrigues me. I'm curious to see what the street price is going to be. The specs are similar to the S&W airweight, which can be found for around $400 if you look around. At least the S&W is proven reliable. If I could pick up a Ruger in the $3XX range I may just do it. We shall see. I think they are expected to be released 3/1/09 aren't they?
