Srgt. Hulka
Hulka, that is absolutely stunning. Thank you kind sir, and it's all original finish, which I'm surprised as many miles as I put on that thing over the last 45 years.
Recondo 101
Let me see if I can get one on here. This is AR-15 with a recoil pad and a rugged Japanese made Hakko MPZ (Military and Police) model Mil Dot 2.5 x12 x 56 w/ side parallax adjustment, on my 358 MGP cat. A good bit of recoil for a light gun. Edited January 11, 2022 by Recondo
Recondo 101
That worked OK, so lets see about another mount. This is a 3x12x50 Vortex Crossfire on a 6mm Mongoose cat with a cantilever mount.

Recondo 101
I put the large locking heads for the base on the left these days. Unless mounting on a heavy hitter.
Recondo 101
Went by a Gun Show this past weekend, first in 3 years. So walked in and there was a cobbled up 10/22 with a bull barrel, that did not fit right, no bull barrel ring, etc. But I did not care about the 10/22, wanted the scope on it. A Gilmore Red Leader 2 MOA Dot. The pre Leupold original Gilmore Red Leader octagon tube and rings. So I bought the 10/22, went over a couple of rows and sold the 10/22 to another dealer, minus the Gilmore, a good show for me. The Gilmore will go on an AR Carbine. That is the 5th one I have owned, adjustments are very repetitive. If memory it may have been Enos and Koening that used Gilmore Red Leaders on their competition guns. I used them on my plate guns and my cast bullet XPs to shoot steel. The 50 mm tube and 2 minute dot is pretty quick.
hkriflenut
The ATF is wrong with their proposed rules and silly arbitrary points system. Some of us are getting middle aged and have poor eye sight, we need low powered but variable optics to see what we're aiming at on our pistols, so we're less dangerous (see how you can spin their stupid rhetoric? My AR is safer with an LVPO replacing the single power red dot, because the image is crisper!) Besides, my AR15 pistol identifies as an 1885 vintage single action black powder revolver. The ATF needs to respect that and stop trying to cal it a "short barrel rifle" - damn size queens in that outfit anyway. God didn't bless everyone with a long barrel, and this is just as much an 1885 single action black powder revolver, as "Rachel" Levine is a woman, so the ATF needs to use the proper pronounes and respect the identity of my AR. Its very sensititve about being descriminated against already because of its natural born exterior color, in its heart it is an 1885 black powder single action revolver, so I support its right to identify as such. It just likes to snack on modern smokeless powder center fire 5.56mm munchies, that's all. #blackgunsmatter #transactionrights #transgunsmatter

Once the wokesters pick up the cause, and you can marry your car or your lathe, there should be no problem marrying your rifles. Then claim you are same sex or fluid gender, and the ATF will have to fold up the circus tent and go home. We all just troop down to Church of the Secular Human and marry all our guns, rocket launchers, and artillary pieces.... I think I just figured out IIA vicrory in a woke world. Claim you are having relations with your weapons, and you are as good as gold. The Leftists will be thinking they were right all along about the size of guns, and pass the legislation fast. It has not come to pass *yet* - its not an actual law either, just a damned administrative rule / re-interpretation of their previous declaration RE pistol braces. I believe it is set to go into effect in December or January, however unless it is topped before then.
