Woohoo! It's a 1066 now (pics)

Well, the 1006 is a little long so I thought I would make it a 1066 :)

I love the S&W 1066. A real nice 10mm and yours looks pretty new.

That sounds awesome, a second smaller pistol when needed. Did you buy an assembled slide? Or build it part by part? Or something else?

It is a great size, very comparable to a 1911 Commander.

I was actually looking for a replacement disconnector and a 645 hammer (to give it a half cock notch-but that's a different story) for my 1006 I asked what other parts were available. The complete slide assembly was mentioned and I had to have it! :)

Good buy , the 1066 is almost small enough to consider for summer CCW ....compared to the 1006 that is . Anyway I'm sure now that you've found a way to multiply your 10MM fun , others will follow your lead .
